Upryt — Grow Upright

// PROPOSAL PREPARED BY RYAN & RIPAL — R & R GROWTH

Dispo Cannabis Club

Your fractional growth team — August 2026

We're not a vendor delivering a scope. We're part of your team — working alongside you, week over week, on the website and everything that drives people to it.

Dispo Cannabis Club website shown on a laptop and a mobile phone
dispostore.com today — desktop and mobile.

// WHAT WORKING TOGETHER LOOKS LIKE

Two workstreams. One embedded team.

01

Rebuilding the storefront.

A full rebuild of dispostore.com on modern infrastructure, run as our first shared project together — planned, reviewed, and shipped in the open with you.

02

Ongoing Growth

Local SEO, Google Business Profile, content, social, and delivery-zone marketing built for cannabis retail — a category with strict paid-ads rules where organic wins. This is the part that never ends, and it is the part we own with you.

// WHAT WE FOUND

Your site works. It doesn't sell yet.

Dispo Cannabis Club has real fundamentals — a 5.0 rating on Leafly, a solid Park Slope location at 588 4th Avenue, and a functioning online order flow. But dispostore.com is doing a fraction of the selling it could. Content is thin, trust signals live on third-party sites instead of your own, key pages are missing critical information, and the site's bot protection is currently blocking search engine crawlers we tested with. In a category where Google Ads is banned and Meta is restricted, your website is your paid-media channel. Right now, it's underbuilt for that job.

// SITE AUDIT

Twelve findings, ranked by revenue impact.

Grouped into four buckets: technical, content, SEO, and UX. Each finding names what's wrong, why it matters for a National dispensary, and how we fix it together.

// TECHNICAL

Technical

F1

CRITICAL

Bot protection is blocking search crawlers

When we requested dispostore.com with standard tooling, the server returned a 403 Forbidden from what appears to be a WAF or Cloudflare bot rule. That same fingerprint blocks non-Googlebot SEO auditors and, if misconfigured, can block Googlebot itself.

In cannabis retail, organic search is one of the only free traffic channels available. If your rules are dropping crawlers, you're silently losing rankings you paid to build.

The fix: Verify Googlebot, Bingbot, and SEO auditor user-agents are allowlisted at the WAF layer, and confirm indexing in Google Search Console within week one of the rebuild.

F2

WARNING

Core Web Vitals not measurable in a live crawl

PageSpeed Insights rate-limited during our audit run (a downstream symptom of the same bot-block above). We were unable to pull confirmed LCP, INP, and CLS numbers for dispostore.com from the field data.

You cannot improve what you cannot measure. Mobile Core Web Vitals directly affect Google rankings for local search — the exact queries your customers use.

The fix: We rebuild with target CWV of LCP < 2.5s, INP < 200ms, CLS < 0.1, verified in both lab (Lighthouse) and field (CrUX) data, and monitor them monthly from there on.

F3

WARNING

No visible schema markup for LocalBusiness or Product

The homepage does not appear to expose JSON-LD structured data for LocalBusiness, Product, or Store schema.

Schema is how Google renders your address, hours, ratings, and product photos as rich results. Without it, competitors with schema get the visual real estate for the same query.

The fix: Ship full LocalBusiness + Product + Menu schema at launch and verify with the Rich Results Test.

// CONTENT

Content

F4

CRITICAL

About page has no actual "about"

The /about-us route renders navigation and an age gate but no company story, no team, no founder message, and no NY OCM license number visible in the HTML body we fetched.

In a regulated category, buyers want to know who they're buying from. "Anonymous storefront" is a conversion killer against operators like Hii NYC who lead with a founder story.

The fix: Rewrite the About page around a real founder narrative, the OCM license number, team photos, and a one-line mission. We can draft it from a 30-minute interview.

F5

CRITICAL

Contact page has no contact info

The /contact route has a page title and a description but the actual address, phone, email, and hours are not surfaced in the HTML.

Customers who want to phone a dispensary before their first visit will bounce to a competitor whose number is a single click away. This is table stakes.

The fix: Rebuild the page around a big phone number, hours grid, address with an embedded map, and a form that routes to a real inbox.

F6

WARNING

Address, hours, and phone are not on the homepage

The homepage above the fold does not appear to surface the 588 4th Avenue address, hours, or a phone number.

"Where are you and are you open right now" is the number-one question a walk-in customer has. Making them hunt for it costs you visits.

The fix: Sticky location strip in the header showing "OPEN NOW — 588 4th Ave · Delivery until 9pm" — the same pattern Hii NYC uses on both storefronts.

F7

WARNING

Zero social proof on your own site

Your best reviews live on Leafly (5.0/5.0 across 40 ratings, 38 reviews) and on Yelp — not on dispostore.com itself.

You're doing the work of earning five-star reviews and letting third-party sites keep the conversion credit. Every customer sent to Leafly can be poached by a competitor listing on the same page.

The fix: Pull your Leafly and Google reviews into a "What Brooklyn says" section on the homepage and every product category page, and keep them fresh as new reviews land.

// SEO

SEO

F8

OPPORTUNITY

No blog or educational content

We could not find a /blog, /guides, or /education section on dispostore.com.

Cannabis retail cannot buy Google Ads for cannabis keywords. Organic content — "what is Delta-8," "best strain for sleep," "Brooklyn delivery zones" — is the primary way to rank for the queries that turn into carts. Hii NYC has built a full library. You have none.

The fix: We ship 2–4 educational posts per month, targeted at Brooklyn buyer intent, all interlinked with your product menu.

F9

OPPORTUNITY

Domain authority is almost certainly thin

We could not find press mentions, guest features, or industry-directory listings pointing to dispostore.com in our search sweep. For a young dispensary with no visible PR, referring-domain count is likely in the single digits.

Backlinks are still the single strongest ranking signal Google uses. Competitors with press coverage (TimeOut NY, EIN Presswire, local Brooklyn blogs) outrank dispensaries without them for the same neighborhood queries.

The fix: We run local-PR outreach — Brooklyn food/lifestyle blogs, Park Slope neighborhood directories, industry press — targeting 4–6 new referring domains per quarter.

F10

OPPORTUNITY

Local-SEO surface area is under-claimed

You appear on Leafly, Weedmaps, Yelp, JointCommerce, GoWeeds, Cannapages, and Yahoo Local — but the profile completeness across those varies and Google Business Profile optimization is unclear from the outside.

For a dispensary, GBP + Leafly + Weedmaps are the three surfaces that drive foot traffic. Each one gets treated as its own mini-SEO project by every serious competitor.

The fix: Audit and rebuild all three profiles in month one of Growth: full menu sync, weekly posts, review response, geo-tagged photos.

// UX

UX

F11

WARNING

Age gate fires twice

In our fetch of the homepage, the 21+ age-verification prompt appeared twice, creating redundant clicks before a user reaches any actual content.

Every friction step on entry costs you a percentage of first-time visitors. Two age gates is one too many — and it's a solved problem.

The fix: Age-gate once per session (cookie-based), remembered for 24 hours. Ships with the rebuild.

F12

OPPORTUNITY

No delivery-zone checker on the homepage

You offer same-day delivery but we could not find an above-the-fold zip-code checker to tell a Brooklyn visitor whether their block is in-zone.

Hii NYC leads with a zip-code checker. It's the highest-intent question a delivery customer has, and answering it in the hero converts. Not answering it makes them scroll, then leave.

The fix: Interactive zip-code checker in the hero. Ships with the rebuild.

// WHO YOU'RE COMPETING WITH ONLINE

Three Brooklyn operators are outbuilding you on the web.

We looked at the three dispensaries that show up next to Dispo Cannabis Club in Google, Leafly, and Yelp for Brooklyn cannabis intent. Here is what they are doing on their own websites that you are not.

Hii NYC

Williamsburg + Bay Ridge

Curated, education-first "craft cannabis" dispensary with two Brooklyn storefronts.

What they do better than dispostore.com

  • →NY OCM license (OCM-CAURD-24-000102) displayed prominently as a trust signal
  • →Live inventory pulled directly into the homepage
  • →Zip-code delivery checker in the hero
  • →Dual-location toggle with parity messaging ("same flower, edibles, vapes")
  • →Founder story (Peter Beznos, 20-year advocate) as a real About page
  • →"Hii Society" loyalty program with clear value proposition
  • →Full educational resource library targeting long-tail organic queries

Brooklyn Arboretum

Delivery-only, Brooklyn / Manhattan / Queens

Premium delivery service with "we consume what we sell" transparency.

What they do better than dispostore.com

  • →Multi-channel contact (Signal, WhatsApp, Instagram, email) meeting customers where they are
  • →Service-area map visualization — customers know if they're in-zone in one glance
  • →Operating hours stated clearly ("1pm–10pm Daily")
  • →Discreet-packaging messaging that addresses a real customer objection head-on
  • →Urgency merchandising ("BACK IN STOCK," "NEW STRAINS") on the homepage
  • →Newsletter capture with a fresh-drops incentive

Jungle Kingdom Flower

Licensed Brooklyn operator

SEO-heavy blog play. Ranks for "best dispensaries in Brooklyn" as of 2026.

What they do better than dispostore.com

  • →Ranks organically for the highest-intent query in your neighborhood ("best Brooklyn dispensary") via a well-optimized guide post
  • →Uses long-form editorial as a Trojan horse to link back to their own product pages
  • →Comparison content that mentions competitors on their own terms

// THE POINT

The gap is not the storefront. It's the internet.

Your Leafly rating (5.0) beats most of them. Your Park Slope location is enviable. What's missing is a website that turns your reputation into revenue. That is the first thing we take on together.

// FIRST WORKSTREAM

The rebuild we start with.

Everything below is work we take on as your team. You watch it move on the shared board, review it on a staging URL, and weigh in as it takes shape.

✓

Home, About, Location, Contact, Shop landing. Written from scratch to fix every content gap in the audit.

✓

Mobile-first, fast, accessible

LCP under 2.5s. WCAG AA color contrast. Age gate that fires once, not twice.

✓

Clear CTAs for orders + walk-ins

"Order for delivery," "Reserve for pickup," and a click-to-call phone for the store. One primary action per section.

✓

Trust signals baked in

OCM license number, hours, address, live Google + Leafly review pulls, team photos.

✓

On-page SEO basics

Meta titles/descriptions, LocalBusiness + Product schema, canonical tags, sitemap, robots.txt, and a Search Console handoff.

✓

Domain + DNS handling

We move DNS carefully with zero downtime. You keep the domain in your account.

// ONGOING WORK

What we own for you every month.

These are the channels we run as your growth team. Priorities shift with the season, the menu, and what the data says — we adjust together instead of holding you to a scope document.

// 01

Local SEO

Ranking for "cannabis delivery near me," "Park Slope dispensary," and every Brooklyn neighborhood query that matters. Includes on-page optimization, internal linking, and local schema.

// 02

Google Business Profile management

Weekly posts, product uploads, review response within 24 hours, Q&A monitoring, geo-tagged photos. This is the single highest-ROI channel for a walk-in cannabis store.

// 03

Google Ads / paid search

For the queries you can buy in cannabis (branded, accessories, non-regulated adjacent). Small tight budgets, tracked to attributed sales.

// 04

Social media management

IG and TikTok content built around your store, your budtenders, and Brooklyn culture. Two posts per week, plus stories.

// 05

Monthly content and blog posts

Two to four SEO-briefed posts per month, targeted at buyer-intent keywords. Interlinked with your product menu so content earns revenue, not just traffic.

// 06

Site maintenance and hosting

Uptime monitoring, security patches, monthly backups, and a real human who answers when something breaks.

// HOW WE RUN YOUR GROWTH

You get a team, not a ticket queue.

Everything above lives in one shared board that you can see at any time. Work is planned weekly, moved in the open, and reviewed together. You always know what we are doing, what is next, and what we need from you.

The Upright Program

Three programs run together, by one team, at bundled rates. Saves 25% vs à la carte, and the savings grow with every location.

  • ✓

    Email Marketing & Newsletter — List strategy, segmentation, monthly campaign calendar, automations (welcome, birthday, winback), platform management, reporting.

  • ✓

    Brand-level Social — Parent-entity Instagram + LinkedIn, one voice for the whole brand.

  • ✓

    Local SEO — GBP optimization, local ranking, review response, citation cleanup, local content.

MONTHLY · OPTIONAL

Add-ons

Two ways to expand. One we recommend. One we don't — and we'll tell you why.

RECOMMENDED

Email marketing at scale — segmentation, volume, and platform tier step up above 7 locations.

+$150 / month per location above 7

NOT RECOMMENDED (AVAILABLE ON REQUEST)

Location-level social — individual Instagram + Facebook accounts per location.

$250 / month per location

WHY WE DON'T RECOMMEND THIS

Location-level social is expensive to do well and rarely returns proportionally on a marketing team's time. For most multi-location operators, brand-level social + strong local SEO does more for foot traffic than 10 mediocre location Instagrams. We'll run it if you want us to. We'd rather you spend that budget on email at scale, or on the paid + creative work that actually has customers making more purchases.

// HOW WE WORK

Three things you should know before we start.

HOW IT STARTS

A kickoff, not a handoff.

We schedule a 30-minute kickoff with Ryan and Ripal, get access to your systems, and start working inside your business the same week. No procurement theatre, no scoping ping-pong.

HOW WE WORK

Embedded, not outsourced.

You get a dedicated U.S.-based account manager plus direct access to the founders — Slack, phone, whatever you already use. Nothing offshored, no ticket queue, no anonymous inbox. We show up like the in-house growth team you would hire if hiring were easy.

OUR PROMISE

You own everything.

Code, domain, content, brand assets, analytics — all yours from day one. Nothing we build is locked to us, and nothing about working together depends on you being unable to leave.

Thank you.

— Ryan & Ripal, R&R Group
